There’s a legend that a Danish Prince, Ragnor Lodbrok (here called Luddy), was blown across the North Sea and washed up at Reedham. He was taken to the palace of King Edmund at Caister. This is an excerpt from Julian Tennyson’s brilliant, hilarious retelling of the story in broad Suffolk dialect.
